I say it all the time, but it's true - photographing weddings is an incredible honor. I do not take lightly that I will be the one to capture the memories you make on the best day of your life. I have learned after years of shooting weddings that it's not about me and what I want. Everything I do is to serve my couples and make their wedding day the best it can be. I believe in being a team player with your other vendors, and helping things run as smooth as possible. I believe in treating everyone with kindness even in the midst of the most stressful situations. I want everyone to feel important and a part of your day. Every moment and person matters, to capture the true story of your wedding day.

Working with Sheila to capture special moments of your life will be one of the BEST decisions you’ll ever make! We booked her for our wedding and she truly made our day special. She KNOWS what she’s doing. This is not her first rodeo and she will help guide you through the day effortlessly. She’ll keep you grounded and gas you up (aka make you feel amazing). We laughed throughout the day and enjoyed every minute.
I am based in Tryon, NC, but will travel pretty much anywhere. I love the opportunity to see new places, and happily travel to your town or shoot your destination wedding. (Bonus points if it's Italy!) I keep it super simple with travel fees and packages. Shoot me an email!
Portrait and engagement session photos are delivered no later than 4 weeks after shoot.
For a wedding, you will receive a preview gallery (25-100 photos) within a week of your wedding, and the full gallery will be delivered in 6-10 weeks.
I do not have a full-time assistant or second shooter that is along for every wedding. However, I always offer the option when you are booking your wedding. Second shooters are great for different angles on the first look and ceremony, as well as another set of eyes to fix dresses, set up shots, etc.
When you inquire through my contact form, I will know a little more about what you are looking for and will put together a custom quote for you. I start with at least 7 hours of wedding coverage. I also offer film coverage, a second photographer, engagement sessions, and custom designed wedding albums. ALL packages include a digital download of your edited wedding images.

This one's for the boys. I know you don't want to be sweating in your suit 5 hours before the ceremony. I am super efficient and don't spend a ton of time with the posed shots, but can still accomplish a lot. Everyone is a winner.
Yes. This is a no-brainer for me.
Start by filling out my contact form! I will respond quickly and get you more info and pricing! We will set up a time to chat on the phone (if schedules allow). If we both feel like we are a good fit you can officially book with me! To lock in your date I just need a 40% retainer and a signed contract.
1. Shoot on dual cards, so every photo I take is recorded twice
2. Change cards out multiple times on wedding day
3. Copy all RAW photos to two separate hard drives
4. Keep one set of memory cards with all RAWs in fire safe until full wedding gallery is delivered.

I LOVE elopements! The 'big wedding' thing isn't for everyone. I think the past few years have opened our eyes to what matters most, and doing what you want for your wedding day is so important. Asheville is the perfect place for an elopement or tiny wedding! I offer special pricing for weekday weddings like this! There are so many great locations with views, I can help you pick an amazing spot! If you want to elope somewhere else, I'm also down to travel! I'm always up for an adventure! My elopement packages can range from 2 to 12 hours. This is totally customized for what you have envisioned for your day. Some couples choose only a few hours in the mountains, and then have a private dinner after. Other couples make it an all day affair. Vows in the mountains, celebratory brunch, tattoos, whatever! I absolutely love doing things outside the norm. If that's your vibe, I'm your girl. Elopement packages start at $2,700.
