I know this all too well. It seems like yesterday when we brought our oldest daughter home from the hospital. Then I couldn't believe we were celebrating her fourth birthday. Five years go by, and now she's nine. I have been guilty of putting off the 'obligatory family photos', and it's never been a good decision. It doesn't have to look perfect, let them be messy if you want. Dress them up if you want. Think about looking at these photos in 50 years, what do you want to remember? These are the best years of our lives, we can't slow down time, but we can freeze it in a photograph.

I love this question! What you wear make the biggest difference in the end result. The answer can be more complicated, but to simplify, I always suggest earth tones, and muted colors. My favorite color to photograph is just cream or beige. It looks good and complimentary to any location. I'm happy to personalize your session and help you style your outfits! Don't be afraid to ask!
I always start off with sending a little sneak peek, you will receive that within a few days after your session. Your full gallery of photos will be delivered no later than 4 weeks from session date. All sessions include an online gallery with full rights to printing and downloading the high resolution images.
I definitely have my go-to places. Some of the locations you see on my portfolio are, fields with distant mountain views, mountain top (this one has less space to run), a gorgeous peach orchard with mountain views, pond, fields, etc. I also love coming to your home to capture real life, this is great for newborns and small kiddos! You can also suggest your own locations if you have a special place in mind!
I suggest book 1-2 months out. Fall is the busiest time of year, so keep that in mind! My family and engagement sessions are available to book during the week. We usually meet around sunset, so during the summer and early fall, that is still around 8pm!
