I’m excited to share this family session! I can’t wait to share more of these. There are so many ways to approach a family session, and I do my best to give a variety. Of course every parents wants to get a photo of everyone looking at the camera to maybe put on a Christmas card, or frame for the wall. I think classic portraits like this are a must. The other side of the coin is letting the kiddos be kiddos, and focusing on capturing personality and interactions with each other. I love doing both!
For this session, we ventured up a mountain that is local to where I live, near Tryon, NC. While there isn’t a ton of space to run around, and you need to keep a close eye on the kids, it provides the most stunning mountain views, especially at sunset. We let the kids have some fun, got a few nice portraits, and captured some sweet moments all at the same time.
She was personable, prompt, professional, and really really fun. The photos speak for themselves, but we are thrilled with the end result. On a big day with a lot going on, she made the whole experience of the shoot seem really easy and effortless. Her experience is quite obvious, and knowing when to give us space or step in for photos was something she navigated very well. Hope to get the chance to work with her again one day!
