This beautiful June wedding was definitely one of a kind. The timeline was very different for several reasons, and it turned out to be just the most magical day! Johnny and Amy opted for a traditional Jewish ceremony, and since they were getting married on a Saturday, their ceremony needed to take place after sundown, according to Jewish tradition. Because of this, they did a first look and all of their photos before the ceremony. Amy changed into an adorable dusty blue dress for their pre-ceremony cocktail hour, and they enjoyed greeting and hanging out with guests before heading to the ceremony at dusk. They chose Hotel Domestique for the European vibes of the venue, along with the mountain views, and the gorgeous patio. The details were insane and so meticulously planned, with custom signage, a telephone guest book and the most whimsical florals.
They ended the evening with a reception under the lit up, clear tent. I was super excited to hear the band they chose, Hot Sauce, because I hadn’t heard them play before, and Johnny (groom) is a drummer, so I had a feeling he would pick a great band. No one was disappointed, they absolutely killed it and it was so much fun. Johnny even got to join in for a song or two, which was, of course, the coolest thing ever. I hope you can feel the love and joy in these photos!!

She was personable, prompt, professional, and really really fun. The photos speak for themselves, but we are thrilled with the end result. On a big day with a lot going on, she made the whole experience of the shoot seem really easy and effortless. Her experience is quite obvious, and knowing when to give us space or step in for photos was something she navigated very well. Hope to get the chance to work with her again one day!
