Even though it means time away from my family, whom I adore, I love that I get to occasionally travel to new places for weddings! This particular one took me to the beautiful NC coast. The Watson House + Gardens in Emerald Isle, NC is an absolute dream venue, I was so honored to work with the amazing team they have in place as well as the other vendors involved! I was blown away with all the detail Lauren had incorporated into her wedding day, the flowers were absolutely breathtaking & the atmosphere was just perfect.

As much as I love all the detail and beauty that is often present at weddings, the thing that stood out the most about this day was, hands down, the excitement and love felt between Wood and Lauren. This was definitely one of the most emotional wedding days I’ve photographed, from the Groom’s mother being absolutely adorable and so proud of her son, to Lauren’s own son sharing a dance with his mom at the reception, it was such a special day to witness!
