Anthro-inspired Garden Wedding | Chestnut Ridge, Canton, NC
This wedding will always be one of my favorites for so many reasons! Stephanie and Derek got married in the mountains, just outside of Asheville, Nc, at Chestnut Ridge-one of my favorite venues. Stephanie has an incredible eye for interior design, and it’s evident that she has amazing taste. She wanted the reception to feel like a lush garden, and the decor had plenty of Anthropology vibes. Melissa from Flora was the florist for this one, she is incredibly gifted at bringing people’s ideas to life, and adding insane detail to her work. Every space was lush with greens and florals, down to the potted plants on the tables, and the insane hanging blooms and greenery on the chandelier.
Along with all of these amazing touches, Derek and Stephanie were 100% smitten with each other, and the entire day was so heartfelt and emotional. They truly created the most magical wedding day for everyone to come celebrate their love.
They danced along with music from one of my favorite wedding bands ever, The Royal Suits. They know how to get everyone dancing and having the best time!
Would highly recommend every one of these vendors from this day!

She was personable, prompt, professional, and really really fun. The photos speak for themselves, but we are thrilled with the end result. On a big day with a lot going on, she made the whole experience of the shoot seem really easy and effortless. Her experience is quite obvious, and knowing when to give us space or step in for photos was something she navigated very well. Hope to get the chance to work with her again one day!
