I have so much love for this sweet elopement that happened in the mountains of Asheville. Allen + Bekah loved Black Balsam Knob and chose to get married here! Surrounded by their family and closest friends, they braved the gusty winds and fog for the most magical ceremony in the clouds. The weather can be so wild in theses NC mountains, after the ceremony we hiked down about 50 feet and it cleared nicely for some portraits with their family and friends.

Sam + Rebecca opted for a small, intimate wedding with their closest family and friends. They chose the Champagne Cellar at the Biltmore, for it’s romantic, cozy feel. Asheville is, of course, famous for hosting the Biltmore estate, but many people don’t get to actually see this hidden spot, right within the winery.

Today I’m so excited to blog Colin + Lauren’s wedding at Triple B Ranch in Rutherfordton, NC. It was hurricane season and one on its way to the coast, which means lots of rain for us in western North Carolina. The plan was for everything to be outside, in open air. But plans change, and they ended up having the most memorable wedding day in the cozy lodge. Complete with roaring fireplaces and fuzzy blankets.

I could say many words about this wedding day. If you need a little push in the direction of having a small wedding with close family and friends, look no further. Chris + Shannon chose The Ridge in Asheville, NC for their wedding venue. The ceremony was overlooking the gorgeous view of the mountains, with […]

I am constantly inspired by the beautiful mountains that surround western North Carolina, so I planned this simple, styled elopement as a way to keep my creative juices flowing.
